After the success of the spring cruise, we are now investing further with Rocknytt Cruise 2024!
The dates will be March 8-9 and once again the mighty Viking Cinderella will take us on a 21-hour journey between Stockholm, Sweden and Mariehamn, FinlandIn addition to the cold beer, the good food and the fantastic atmosphere among all rock lovers, there will of course be a lot of good artists on board.
First of all, we can present an almost legendary band that was once discovered by Gene Simmons and ended up on the same record label as Kiss. We are of course talking about ANGEL from Washington D.C. who released their self-titled debut album back in 1975, who are now coming to Sweden for the first time since 2001, with the original guitarist Punky Meadows. Don't miss this unique gig!
Also confirmed is American TYKETTO with Danny Vaughn at the helm. A band that has not played many times in Sweden before. Listen to songs like "Forever Young”, Wings” and “Standing Alone” and you will understand why we attracted them to our cruise.
We continue with classic HARDLINE who are one of the best live bands imaginable and who can't hum along to songs like “Hot Cherie”, “Takin’ Me Down” and “Dr Love”?
A slightly "newer" band is the British CATS IN SPACE. An absolutely fantastic rock band that was formed in 2015 and is now playing their very first gig in Sweden. If you haven't listened yet, check out songs like “Listen to the Radio”, “Teenage Millionaires” and “Poke the Witch” and you will fall in love with the band as much as we did.
Other bands will be Danish SKAGARACK som i mitten av 80-talet och början av 90-talet levererade hits som “Hungry For A Game”, “I’m Alone” and “Anytime Anywhere” samt ett av 2000-talets populäraste melodic rock-band, finska BROTHER FIRETRIBE. Senast bandet var i Sverige var 2014! Spana in låtar som “For Better Or For Worse”, “Taste Of A Champion” and “Wildest Dreams”.
And a triple really awesome Swedish band consisting of VELVET INSANE, SARAYASIGN and ROULETTE.
Förutom alla banden så kommer så klart Ellinor “Hellinor” Asp att underhålla i Pianobaren. Det brukar alltid vara en av höjdpunkterna på kryssningen!
TV4:s filmmogul Ronny Svensson kommer att vara konferencier ombord och även köra två musikquiz med fina priser. En quiz på utresan och en på hemresan.
DJ under resan blir ingen mindre än Wilmer X-trummisen Sticky Bomb som kommer att underhålla mellan artisterna.
Förutom detta så blir det trubadurer och merchförsäljning ombord och kanske en och annan överraskning.
